  • Chris Reynolds is the Chief Executive Officer of LEAD Public Schools, Nashville, Tennessee’s largest charter management organization.

    LEAD serves students in grades 5-12 in both lottery charters and zoned enrollment conversion charter schools. Chris leads the development of LEAD’s vision and strategy, the pursuit of its mission, and guides the network support team as it provides oversight and functional support services to all campuses.
  • Jay Brown is the Chief Academic Officer for LEAD Public Schools. Prior to taking on her current role, Jay served LEAD as an independent consultant providing support to principals and teachers.

    Previously, she worked as a leadership coach with the Academy of Urban of School Leadership (AUSL) in Chicago, IL. Jay has led top-quality strategic planning, professional learning, and instructional support services for various schools and networks.
  • In her role as Chief Financial Officer, Adrienne D. Useted is committed to supporting the development of our next generation of leaders by improving public education opportunities for children today.
  • Nathan Madigan is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of LEAD Public Schools. Originally from Atlanta, Ga., Nathan spent the last seven years working for and rising up the ranks of KIPP New Jersey.

    As our Head of Schools, LaVoe Mulgrew oversees the development of our school directors and school leadership teams. Ms. Mulgrew is formerly the Head of School for LEAD Academy, where she oversaw the growth of the network's high school and its first three graduating classes, all of whom earned 100 percent acceptance to college.
  • Dr. Amy Hunter is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for LEAD Public Schools. Before joining LEAD, she received her doctorate degree from the University of Louisville in Curriculum and Instruction for Mathematics Education.
  • Ashley M. Frasier is the Instructional Math Coach for LEAD Public Schools. Before joining LEAD’s Network Support Team, she worked eight years as a middle school Math teacher, two of which were spent at our very own Brick Church: A LEAD Public School.

  • Ruthie Huggins is the Director of Development for LEAD Public Schools and is committed to growing community involvement, corporate sponsorships, and a strong foundation of philanthropy to ensure further success for each and every LEAD campus.
  • In his role as the Director of Communications, Jon Zlock is responsible for sharing LEAD Public Schools network news and events, managing the website and all social media feeds and working with media to facilitate coverage of our network.
  • Director of Strategic Planning
    Nile joins LEAD Public Schools from Medtronic, PLC, where she was most recently in charge of overseeing economic value and pricing strategy for the medical company's peripheral arterial division.

    Nile is a Broad Resident is overseeing all aspects of the network's strategic planning work. Nile holds a master's in business administration from the University of Michigan and bachelor's degrees in both finance and arts, speech and interpersonal communication from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.

  • Shemika Blocker is an Operations Manager for LEAD Public Schools in direct support of LEAD Southeast. Shemika's primary focus is on facilities, safety, food service, finance, technology, and transportation support.
  • Adam Holdren is the Operations Manager at Brick Church and Neely's Bend. His focus is on facilities, safety, food service, finance, technology, and transportation support.
  • Sarah Terry is the Operations Manager for Cameron: A LEAD Public School. Sarah's primary focus is on facilities, safety, food service, finance, technology, and transportation support.
  • In his role as Director of Talent, Patrick J. Rudd is committed to finding high quality teaching talent and retaining those teachers to support the development of our students while improving their public education opportunities.
  • Anita Mitchum is the Talent Recruitment Coordinator at LEAD Public Schools, where she coordinates teacher recruitment, selection, and onboarding. Anita graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication.
