With small class sizes and intentional wrap-around services, we care for the whole student and work to ensure all students can learn in an environment where they feel safe and welcome.
During senior year, each student receives individual guidance tailored to specific needs and interests to ensure they can make a post-secondary decision that is best for them.

“Students will struggle to feel successful in environments they don’t feel seen or can’t see themselves in. We ensure students are seen and celebrated so they know they’re valued and are part of our pack. It’s also important to lift up our students’ identities so we can create leaders that show representation for future generations.”
“The LEAD system is to prepare you for college and prepare you for life. I've had staff members that have helped me set goals for myself. We talk about things that actually actively prepare you for where you want to go.”
"The culture at Cameron is deeply student-centered — every decision we make is grounded in what will best serve our scholars and push them toward excellence. There’s a clear instructional vision, and within that clarity, teachers are empowered to take ownership of their classrooms and lead with purpose. That balance creates space for educators to grow into strong instructional leaders while keeping students at the heart of the work.”
“I appreciate how much the adults at Neely’s Bend want us to succeed beyond middle school. So many people have worked together to help me plan my future!”
“I knew from my first day of work that I wanted to send my daughter here for middle school. I love the sense of community she experiences here. The faculty is very intentional about creating and maintaining a safe and fun environment to learn. Her teachers acknowledge her extraordinary academic abilities and create challenging curriculum to keep her engaged."
“The culture at LEAD Southeast is absolutely incredible; that's why I love it so much. When I first got here, I instantly knew this place was different than any other school I’ve worked at. LEAD Southeast is a great example of what schools need to be. It starts from the top down, but every single person here believes in kids, and it just bleeds into everything we do. It’s incredible to be a part of.”
"At LEAD Southeast Elementary, we're guided by Purpose, Pride, and Possibility: we do whatever it takes to help every student reach and maintain grade-level proficiency, we make sure every person in our Pack knows they belong and are valued, and we never let a student believe their potential is limited by where they begin."
“The best part of my job is when a student reaches a milestone that they did not originally think was attainable. Most of the students I see do not come in feeling confident about their abilities, and it is a genuine joy to build them up to where they know they can do it.”
“LEAD is special because it truly encompasses ALL students doing great things. There are special programs to help students from different backgrounds feel successful. Cultures are recognized and celebrated. There is a system in place here at Cameron that feels like a family.”
“What I enjoy most is the staff culture. I've never felt unappreciated, unseen, or uncomfortable as a teacher at LEAD. Admin goes out of their way to connect with other staff members and me both personally and professionally, and my peers consistently celebrate and support each other in a way I haven't seen before. It never feels fake or forced, and it makes coming to work every day so much easier.”
“I’m sending my son to LEAD Neely’s Bend High School because I love how involved all the teachers are with the kids and how they stay consistent with them and their expectations. I also love how I always know what’s going on with my kids, the Neely’s Bend staff always make sure I’m informed and in the loop on everything going on with my kids.”
“Our families make LEAD Southeast High unique! Our community is linguistically, culturally, and racially diverse, and our students and families are welcoming and open to learn from each other.”

Knowing that teachers are the most important in-school factor for student success, LEAD pairs a performance-based compensation plan with high-quality coaching and development for all teachers and school leaders. We also proudly provide 16 weeks of paid maternity leave for primary caretakers.

Students of color, economically disadvantaged, and limited English proficiency students are not left behind at LEAD. In fact, they succeed at higher rates than their state and local district peers. A majority of our students come to LEAD 2-3 years behind grade level. We work to help them grow year over year and catch up academically.
